When to
Visit - seasonal descriptions
Hi Paul -
just wanted to let you know how much we loved the cabin!. It worked
perfectly for the three couples and was a great location for getting to lots
of places.
THANKS so much and I look forward to renting another home from you in
the future. Deb July 2007
The Quintessential Family Cabin |
Located just inside Gallatin Canyon this
one-owner, 1911 4-bedroom family cabin has been fully remodeled to add all the modern day luxuries,
including wireless internet, while preserving the rustic qualities that the cabin has always had. Positioned adjacent to Ted
Turner's ranch, the cabin sits
on 46 acres of Montana forest with a full conservation easement.
The fishing-famous West Gallatin River is right across the highway for quick and easy access to blue ribbon trout fishing, as well as whitewater rafting and kayaking.
There are numerous fishing accesses within 10 minutes of the cabin. The Gallatin River flows out of Yellowstone National Park, 65 miles south of the cabin, to its confluence at Three Forks to form the Missouri River some 30 miles downstream.
|
|
Constructed of fir logs and local stone, the interior shows off its hickory, maple and marble floors. The cabin is home to an impressive collection of family antiques, including a working Victrola!
Outside there is a quaint yard with a very small seasonal pond and a barbecue patio
with a gas grill.
Beautiful place. Home away from home.
Stay here and make your vacation a memorable one!! - Austin, Texas

- 25 minutes south of Bozeman (towards Big Sky and Yellowstone)
This cabin is located along the highway between
Bozeman & Big Sky, which is getting more traffic every year. While the
walls are thick and the highway is not obtrusive from inside the cabin, the
yard and outside areas will seem close to the highway. Usually this is
not a problem for our guests but we don't want to surprise anyone with the
location.

A genuine antique
shuffleboard table now graces the living room! |
