"We rented Lucky Dog Lodge for a family reunion during the week of July 4th, and it turned out to be the best ever. The kids had a ball trying their hand at fishing, skipping stones or taking a (quick) dip in the Gallatin River out back. There was good horseback riding just down the road and lots of great hiking within an easy drive. Yellowstone National Park is just two hours away, and there is lots to do in Bozeman itself. The lodge itself is extraordinary -- tastefully decorated, spacious bedrooms, good bath facilities, the large and comfortable common room on the first floor, and a kitchen stocked with first-rate equipment. A good deal of time was spent just hanging out on the back porch or around the huge plank dining table inside. Our group would recommend Lucky Dog Lodge to anybody. It's an unbelievable value."     Tom, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

"The Lucky Dog was perfect for our group and centrally located to many fishing opportunities. I fished the Gallatin, the Madison inside the park, Slough Creek in the park, the Boulder River south of Big Timber, the Yellowstone, the lower Madison and the Jefferson during the week. We also had a group fish the Missouri. All of these waters were within an hour and a half or so from the Lucky Dog. The kitchen and dining facilities work great for larger groups as well."  Sept 2008  James H, Saint Louis, MO

  Fly Fishing Workshop Headquarters
The Lucky Dog Lodge is a perfect place to hold a fly fishing workshop or just get folks together to fish. Walking out the back door you can have your line in the water within 90 seconds, and without a nearby public fishing access there is a lack of fishing pressure on this stretch of river. Staying at the Lodge you can book a few days of guided fishing then have your own backyard to practice. Grill your own fish and cook meals at the lodge, or go out to a variety of nearby restaurants - the Lodge is the perfect step away from the hotel scene or the full-service guest lodge arrangement.  Discover the quiet fall fishing season in October or the pre-runoff season in April!  PRICES BELOW ALREADY INCLUDE MONTANA'S 7% BED TAX.  For exact nightly rates, click here.
